Description

The Red House is a historic site of Taipei City. The signature octagonal building, known as the Bagua Tower, is believed to have the meaning of warding off evil spirit and praying for good fortune. It was one of earliest public markets in Taiwan, but now has been turned into a cultural and creative venue and exhibition space. Many different cultures were brought here thanks to its location near to the Ximending shopping district.
